2. Junior Translator - Hindi (2)
Qualification
Master's degree in Hindi / English with English or Hindi as a subject at degree level.
OR
Masters degree or equivalent in any subject with English / Hindi as a subject at the degree level.
OR
Masters degree of recognized university or equivalent in any subject with English / Hindi medium and Hindi / English as a subject at the degree level.
Diploma / Certificate course in translation or two years experience of technical translation from Hindi to English and vice-versa ideally in scientific or technical literature.

3. Lower Division Clerk (46)
Qualification
- Graduate from a recognized University with one year diploma / certificate course in computer.
- English typing speed of 30 words per minute or Hindi typing speed of 25 words per minute.

4. Junior Stenographer (21)
Qualification
- Graduate with one year diploma / experience in computers from a reputed organisation.

5. Stenographer (15)
Qualification
- Degree from a recognised university.
- Shorthand test in English / Hindi comprising dictation test at 100 words per minute for seven minutes which the candidates shall be required to transcribe in 45 minutes (English dictation) and in 60 minutes (Hindi Dictation) and knowledge in computer usage.

Application Fee
- Rs 535 for Assistant, Stenographer, Junior Translator - Hindi and Techncial Assistant - Lab posts.
- Rs 385 for Junior Stenographer and Lower Division Clerk posts.
- No fee required from SC/ST/disabled/ women and departmental candidates of BIS.
- Exservicemen may not pay any application fee if they are applying for the posts of Junior Stenographer or LDC.
- Application fee should be paid at State Bank of India branches using pre printed payment challan.

Apply online with BIS website and complete stage one on online registration before 17.05.2013. Pay application fee before 21.05.2013 and complete the second stage on online registration before 24.05.2013.
