Qualification
- Pass in SSLC.
- 3 year Diploma in Engineering in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics or Instrumentation Engineering issued by a State Board of Technical Education with sixty percent marks or equivalent qualification with flair for Draftsmanship and proficiency in CAD.
Stipend
- Consolidated Stipend of Rs 6700 per month (first year).
- Rs 7150 per month (second year)
- Extra work hours limited to Rs 4200 per month.
Training Period
2 years.
Maximum Age
25 years.
Selection Process
- Written Test {objective type on general knowledge, general english, reasoning, quantitative aptitude and discipline related}
- Practical Test (creation of drawing using CAD)
- Personal Interview @ Cochin Shipyard Limited, Kochi.
Application Fee
Rs 100 (nil for SC,ST, disabled applicants) to be paid as crossed demand draft drawn in favour of Cochin Shipyard Limited from any nationalised bank payable at Kochi.
